Construction
for Canadians

Built by us, for you.
Canada’s construction industry has launched its official 2025 federal election campaign: Construction for Canadians.
Construction supports .
The construction industry is the backbone of Canada’s growth, shaping the communities we call home and building the infrastructure that keeps our country moving forward. From the roads we drive on to the schools our children learn in, the hospitals that care for us, and the homes where memories are made — construction workers make it all possible. Every project, big or small, is built with purpose and precision, driven by people dedicated to creating a stronger, safer, and more connected Canada. The construction industry doesn’t just build structures — they build the foundation for our future.

Construction fuels Canada’s economic engine.
Construction employs over 1.6 million people in Canada, contributing $151 billion to the economy annually and accounting for 7.4% of Canada’s GDP. This industry fuels Canada’s economic engine, creates jobs, strengthens supply chains, and builds the foundation for other sectors to grow.

Construction keeps Canadians .
The construction industry builds the homes we live in, the rinks we skate on, the schools that our children study in, and the roads we drive on. It is responsible for our waterways, airports, railroads, power plants, ports, highways, and trade corridors that keep essential goods and services moving across our provinces and territories.

Canada .
We cannot grow the economy or develop the infrastructure we need to compete on the world stage and stand up to political threats without construction.
A strong, sustainable, and resilient Canada needs a strong, sustainable, and resilient construction industry.
To support Canadians, the next federal government must support construction.

This campaign would not have been made possible without the contributions of Canada’s construction industry and allied associations. Construction for Canadians is a joint effort of over 57 provincial, national, and regional associations across Canada.
